Welcome to City Service. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the City Service mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using City Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our services.

1. About City Service

City Service is a hyperlocal marketplace platform that connects customers with local vendors, retailers, restaurants, pharmacies, and service providers for the purchase and delivery of products and services within designated service areas.

City Service acts as a technology platform facilitating transactions between customers and independent vendors.

2. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.

3. Account Registration

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Not create multiple fraudulent accounts.
  • Not impersonate another person or entity.

City Service reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.

4. Orders and Purchases

All orders placed through City Service are subject to:

  • Vendor acceptance
  • Service area restrictions
  • Operational feasibility

An order confirmation does not guarantee fulfillment. Vendors may reject or cancel orders due to stock shortages, pricing errors, operational issues, or other circumstances.

5. Pricing

Prices displayed on the Platform are determined by the respective vendors.

Prices may include:

  • Product charges
  • Delivery fees
  • Service charges
  • Applicable taxes

Prices may change without prior notice.

The final payable amount will be displayed before order confirmation.

6. Delivery Services

City Service aims to provide fast and reliable deliveries, often within approximately one hour. However, delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by:

  • Traffic conditions
  • Weather conditions
  • Vendor processing times
  • Local restrictions
  • Unexpected operational delays

City Service does not guarantee delivery within a specific timeframe.

7. Medicines and Regulated Products

For medicines and healthcare-related products:

  • Customers may be required to provide a valid prescription where mandated by law.
  • City Service reserves the right to refuse delivery of restricted or regulated products.
  • Vendors remain responsible for compliance with applicable pharmaceutical and healthcare regulations.

8. Payment Terms

Customers may make payments through approved payment methods available on the Platform.

By making a payment, you represent that:

  • You are authorized to use the selected payment method.
  • The payment information provided is accurate.
  • Sufficient funds are available.

Payments are processed through third-party payment service providers.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

Order cancellations and refunds are governed by the City Service Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Customers are encouraged to review the Refund & Cancellation Policy before placing orders.

10. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes.
  • Provide false information.
  • Interfere with Platform operations.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
  • Upload harmful software, viruses, or malicious code.
  • Abuse vendors, delivery personnel, or customer support representatives.

Violation of these provisions may result in suspension or termination of your account.

11. Vendor Responsibility

Vendors listed on City Service are independently responsible for:

  • Product quality
  • Product descriptions
  • Inventory accuracy
  • Compliance with applicable laws
  • Licensing and regulatory requirements

City Service does not manufacture, store, or independently verify every product listed on the Platform.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos, designs, text, graphics, software, and trademarks, is owned by or licensed to City Service and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any content without prior written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, City Service shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or business opportunities
  • Product defects attributable to vendors
  • Delays caused by factors beyond reasonable control
  • Service interruptions or technical failures

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the relevant order giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless City Service, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Violation of any law or third-party rights

15. Suspension and Termination

City Service reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Platform at any time, without prior notice, for violations of these Terms or any applicable law.

16. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

17. Changes to Terms

City Service may update these Terms from time to time.

Any revised Terms will become effective upon publication on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over the location of City Service’s registered office.
